Public Notice
6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Tampico Village Hall, 202 W. Second Street, Tampico, IL 61283 for the purpose of discussing the proposed water system improvements which include the construction of a
new water treatment plant, lead and galvanized requiring replacement water service line replacements, and water main replacements in the Village.
The Project Summary and Preliminary Environmental Impacts Determination, developed by the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency, and the Project Plan report, developed by the Village of Tampico,
will also be discussed and are on file at the Village Hall for public inspection.
Public comments and participation are encouraged, and anyone interested in this project is invited to
attend. Comments will be received for a period of 10 days after the public hearing and may be made
orally at the public hearing or in writing to:
