SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCILOF THE VILLAGE OF TAMPICO, March 19, 2024, 6:00 PM, Reagan Community Center

Mayor Bruce Peltier called the Special Meeting of the Tampico Village Council to order at 6:00 PM.

Commissioners Sherry Coleman, Susan Dean, Tammy Kendell and Jim Coleman were present. Also present was Chief Strike and Village Superintendent, Tyler Chriest. Village Clerk, Jamie McIntire, recorded the written and audio minutes.

Mayor Peltier led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Mayor, Clerk and Council met and discussed budget figures for the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year Appropriations. Clerk McIntire provided budget figures from past budgets and the current rough draft of figures for the 2024 fiscal year. Each department was reviewed one by one with changes being made to the rough draft of figures for the Department of Public Property, directed towards the maintenance of the park restrooms.

Final review and approval of the budget is set to be had following this meeting at the 7:00PM Regular Village Meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 6:53 PM.
