Village of Tampico, Illinois

Let it be known that I, Dana Fellows, volunteer my time to help my former home town of Tampico IL maintain a website to help keep the citizens informed about what is going on. I’m a very firm believer in transparency and would not be involved if I thought otherwise. Late last week I was out of town for a few days and got behind on my emails. The agenda for January 20, 2015 was forwarded to me in ample time to post on www.tampoicoil.com but this email was buried in dozens of unread emails, due to not having access for a few days. I also would like everyone to know that never has anyone ever asked me to not post any document late in order to keep citizens from knowing what is going on. In the future, I would suggest you approach volunteers in a more civil manner in order to keep them from wanting to resign their positions. A simple email asking if I am aware that an agenda or minutes are missing would be better than accusing me of conspiring of hiding something.
