Mayor Bruce Peltier called the Special Meeting of the Tampico Village Council to order at 4:00 PM.

Commissioners Sherry Coleman, Susan Dean, Tammy Kendell and Jim Coleman were present. Village Clerk Jamie McIntire recorded the written and audio minutes.

Mayor Peltier led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Mayor, Clerk and Council met and discussed budget figures for the 2026–2027 Fiscal Year Appropriations. Clerk McIntire provided budget figures from past budgets and the current figures for the current budget fiscal year. Each department was reviewed one by one, with changes being made where needed, including a possible purchase of two new computers for the Village Hall office, an air compressor, a portable generator, and a welder. All purchases would affect the appropriate General and Water/Sewer line items.

Final review and approval of the budget is set to be held on March 24, 2026, at a Special Village Meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 5:26 PM.
