Well, the Readers Digest “We Hear you America” has come to a close… We didn’t make it in the money. \u00a0But it was inspiring to see so many come together and vote till their fingers hurt. \u00a0Thank-you everyone for taking the time to support our Village. \u00a0With all the comments, for what you would spend the money on, it has helped us see what is important to the people of our community. \u00a0I have saved them all and will continue to use them as a reference to the issues that concern us all. \u00a0You could call it “We hear you Tampico” list. \u00a0Let me know if you would like to try it for again next winter. \u00a0I just can’t say thank-you enough for all the time you dedicated, over a quarter of a millions votes is truly impressive. \u00a0WAY TO GO TAMPICO!<\/p>\n

Here we are, well into the month of January all ready. \u00a0Thanks goodness it’s been such a mild winter. \u00a0Seems the sun has been blessing us all this year. Each day of this milder weather, even when it’s cold like today, we are one day closer to Spring.<\/p>\n
WOOHOO! Tonight we passed the 100,000 vote mark on Reader Digest “WE HEAR YOU AMERICA” campaign. \u00a0WOW! is all I can say. It is wonderful to be a part of so many people coming together and renewing a spirit in our town that no one ever really lost.<\/p>\n
It was so great to see so many people at the Village meeting last night. I hope it continues. Having so many more involved helps us all move forward. \u00a0The Village Council is giving the best job we can to represent the citizens of our Village and input is of\u00a0up-most\u00a0importance. \u00a0Please bear with us as the overall best interest of Tampico is our greatest priority.<\/p>\n

I didn’t want to delete my earlier post below because because of all the wonderful people that make this a great place to live… You could never be Thanked enough for all you do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Welcome to the Tampico website!<\/span><\/p>\n A great deal of Thanks is owed to Dana Fellow for creating and helping to maintain this site.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n We have so many great and wonderful people that still claim Tampico their home.
