NUISANCE CONSIDERATIONS/ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES
In an effort to encourage residents to take pride in the community, an updated Nuisance Ordinance was approved on August 16, 2011. In essence: accumulating trash such as discarded household furniture, appliances, unused building materials, tires, any unused, stripped, junked, wrecked or otherwise inoperable motor vehicle or any implement, machinery, equipment or other personal property of any kind which is no longer safely operable or usable. Verbal and written warnings that suggest compliance will be given before the nuisance will be considered a violation of the ordinance and subject to a fine. If you are not sure what is considered a nuisance and what is not, copies may be obtained at any time from the Clerk’s office in Tampico Village Hall.
